“The Queen Is Dead” documents London during the days surrounding Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. Fascinated since childhood by the imagery and collective fascination surrounding the British monarchy, I wanted to capture how the city transformed during this moment suspended between history, mourning, spectacle, and national memory.
